Data and Processing

After each cruise we treat files and other data with appropriate quality control measures and add metadata to it. We are currently working to make our data available directly through our website. Use the satellite map linked to below to find sampling events in your location of interest, and click the icons to for any linked CTD data and graphs. Or, scroll through the spreadsheet to find data for particular times, regions or cruises. We’re currently backlogged, but are actively working to make all our data available. In addition we will hopefully make our data available through the Northwest Association of Networked Ocean Observing System (NANOOS) Data Visualization web page. Stay tuned; we’re working to bring this part of our process along!

Our CTD data files and graphs are named according to a standard convention. The first three digits are the cruise number. The sixth digit is the station number for a given cruise, and the eighth digit is the cast number for a given station. So, for example, 15200301 translates to the Cruise 152, Station 3, Cast 1.
